The ODRZ05 project lasts 60 minutes.
The sound source is the original audio from 6 italian nationwide television networks, recorded simultaneously on Feb 28 2002, between 8 and 9 p.m.
ODRZ used these original 6 audio sources as real instruments.
Every instrument undergoes an alteration process.
The exaggerated use of effects and equalizations in real time produces the saturation, distortion and falling apart of the original sound.
The final result is a noise composition.
The live performance consists in undergoing alterations the sound broadcasted in real time by the television networks, showing images at the same time.

Concept

The television, today, is the most diffused media.
Every station proposes its TV reality, with the goal of maintaining and possibly increasing its listeners.
Audio TV reality undergoes an alteration process by ODRZ.
ODRZ05 turns out to be incomprehensible and annoying.
ODRZ drives the TV audience away.
ODRZ05 symbolize the communication process cancellation.
